Homework is checked at the beginning of class and credit is given if an honest effort has been made to solve every problem. Any multiple choice questions must have justifications.
Quizzes are given at the end of each unit and are designed to take approximately 45 minutes. Because this course emphasizes reasoning over memorization, you may be allowed to use a "memory enhancement sheet" during the quiz. Students who do not make good use of class time will forfeit the use of the note sheets.
Extra help is available during 7th hour and after school several times a week. Please check with one of the instructors for the week's schedule. Don't leave questions to the last minute!
Makeup work is allowed for excused absences and is the sole responsibility of the student.
Late work is accepted at the discretion of the instructor. All work turned in late will be penalized and must be received before the next unit is complete.
